Vegetarian Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 cans beans (I used black and pinto)
  • 1 onion
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 10 saltines (about one sleeve)

Instructions

  • Drain some of the liquid in the beans. Place beans, chopped onion, eggs, salt, garlic, nutritional yeast, and soy sauce into your food processor and mix them well.
  • Place the saltines in a zip lock bag and mash them into small pieces then mix them with your bean mixture.
  • Poor bean mixture into a frying pan or onto a griddle on medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes on each side. Or until cooked all the way through. If you want your burgers more crispy cook them in a tablespoon or two of oil.
  • Serve on a burger bun with fixings, or by its self with a side.
